The Energy Improvement and Extension Act makes these provisions possible.
The Energy Act makes a number of enhancements to previous legislation for years beginning after December 31, 2008.  The credit now extends through 2016, which is an additional eight years.  The cap of $2000 for solar water heating property expenses is eliminated and the [...]

Fuels are the energy-boosters for vehicles. Without it no automobile can run on the road. But these fuels have always been a major factor in pollution problem. That is why alternative fuels or eco-friendly fuels have been discovered.
Biodiesel is one of them. It is equivalent to diesel, which is derived from biological sources. [...]

WILL THE U.S. LAG ON ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AGAIN?  November 13, 2009.

There are many reasons we are looking towards alternative energy sources. With many countries, and US cities, signing the Kyoto Treaty, efforts to reduce pollutants and greenhouse gases are a primary focus in today’s culture. Do you want to learn how to make magnetic energy for house use? If yes then you have taken one step to both saving some money and the environment. There are so many alternative energy sources being advertised out there. Green energy has become a really popular topic, and many people are [...]

Alternative energy is a non-traditional method of obtaining energy that has a minimal impact on the Earths environment. Alternative energy is, by its very nature, economically easy on the environment and does not have a harmful effect on the planet.

We decide to install an alternative energy system for home, something like a solar power system or a wind energy system. Any alternative energy system for home we install is going to burn holes in our pockets in spite of the tax cuts and subsidies we may be able to avail of.

Problems associated with our dependence on fossil fuel have forced us to turn green. Nice to bet on an idea whose time has come.

Experts on “green” alternative energy say that the shift from the current petroleum-powered society will not be an entirely easy one. The amount of expertise and infrastructures needed to push that shift looks mind-boggling, although Germany has already shown its capacity to generate at least 10 per cent of its total energy needs from wind turbines and solar clusters. Also there has also been a noticeable rise in the number of companies engaged in power generation that supports the alternative energy goals, moved apparently by rebate incentives and tax amnesties offered by governments involved.

The term Alternative Energy is generally used to indicate non-traditional energy systems which do not use fossil fuels and have low environmental impact. There are many non-fossil fuel based energy systems either already in use or being evolved and developed to counter the harmful effects of increasing use of fossil fuels.

With today’s economy, commodity ETFs (exchange traded funds) are the investment to watch. Energy ETFs are among the most popular of the commodities. Energy exchange traded funds include crude oil, coal, natural gas, and even gasoline. Alternative energy ETFs are now making their way into our hearts.
